Looka Here!! - Your Own Logo

It occurs to me that more people have inquired about how to start a business and build a website than have purchased much from Suburban Nirvana.com to this point. Reflecting on this, it seems that many may be as curious about the starting line as they are the race or the finish.

I have a couple suggestions with links below if you are serious about beginning the process. Creating a logo is an absolute and non-negotiable first step in my mind. Well, why in the world do I say that? Without this big brother staring at you, the tendency remains to procrastinate everything. My logo first sold my brand to ME. It's like a happy partner telling you that your existence in business is real. Serving as a reminder that you have started, and should finish, is also in it's job description. I wouldn't hesitate to spend around $50 to have every type of logo file that you will ever need. For those that have seen Spaceballs - The Movie, they talk about Spaceballs the lunchbox, Spaceballs the T-Shirts, and Spaceballs the flamethrower, among other marketing goodies. I love logos. I used Looka. I think they're awesome.

A second thing is to find product to sell that you don't have to handle. I use Shopify for my store, and Spocket as my main supplier of physical products. They fulfill your orders for you from their warehouses directly to customers. Very simple. They are easy to work with and allow you to sell one product or hundreds.

So, those are two things and companies to use if you are interested in selling anything from beauty supplies to clothing to sporting goods. Now, if I could just sell a bit more myself, instead of having a decent understanding of the logistics.
